(Rams Island)The River Bann and Lough Neagh Association (RBLNA) was formed in 1962 and exists to preserve and promote the amenities of the River Bann and Lough Neagh, their tributaries and associated waterways. We want the Rivers and Loughs to be used properly and enjoyed without being spoilt. We aim to support the reopening of all associated navigations. e.g. Ulster Canal etc.
We are represented on the Lough Neagh and Lower Bann Advisory Committees and various working groups.
In 1999 the River Bann and Lough Neagh Association became a Branch of the Inland Waterways Association of Ireland
Members receive copies of the Inland Waterways News at least 4 times a year. We organize various events throughout the year.
If you agree with the aims and objects of the RBLNA and wish to become a member please complete this form. We meet at least four times a year and all members are welcome to attend all meetings. At present membership costs £20 per year.
